Applying process

What intern roles are open (creative, marketing, research)?

We offer internships in Creative, Marketing, Investor Relations, and other areas. Currently, applications are open for the Marketing Intern and Creative Intern roles.

What does the hiring process typically look like?

The process varies by internship, but typically includes a few assignments, a portfolio review if applicable, and a 10–15 minute interview.

How long will it take to hear back after applying for an internship at Freja North Studios?

At Freja North Studios, we understand the importance of timely communication and strive to provide updates as promptly as possible. After submitting your application for an internship, you can expect to hear back from us within a few weeks. During this period, our team carefully reviews each application to ensure we select candidates who best fit our creative vision and operational needs.

Practicality

What is the policy on working hours, flexibility, and time off?

We offer a full-time internship with standard hours of 09:00–17:00, including 1.5 hours for lunch and a short afternoon break. An earlier start can be accommodated if needed.

Is the internship on site in Stockholm, hybrid or remote?

This internship is fully on-site at our Stockholm studio in Östermalm. Limited remote days may be approved on occasion.

Is the internship paid or unpaid?

Freja North Studios offers an unpaid internship where you get the chance to learn, receive founder-level mentorship, contribute, and receive invaluable real-world work experience.

What is unique about this internship?

This internship is on-site at our central Östermalm office. You’ll work on assignments tailored to your background and interests across Freja North Studios and affiliated brands, with a supportive team and prompt, growth-focused feedback.

Responsibilities and tools

What type of tools or software are you typically working with?

It depends on the internship you’ve applied for, but commonly used tools include Wix Studio, Salesforce, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign and After Effects), Canva, and AI tools such as ChatGPT, ElevenLabs, and Runway.

What will I work on?

At Freja North Studios, we pride ourselves on offering interns a comprehensive, immersive experience tailored to their roles. To ensure a good fit, it’s important to clarify your interests and what you want to work on during the hiring process.

Creative Interns will engage in design disciplines such as content creation and video animation. Marketing Interns will focus on outreach to potential investors and internship candidates using the CRM system Salesforce and the marketing automation platform Klaviyo. There may also be opportunities to work on social media marketing to grow brand awareness. Investor Relations Interns will engage with potential investors and maintain relationships with current investors to ensure transparent, effective communication.

In addition to projects for Freja North Studios, you may work on projects for our affiliated brands. This varied experience ensures that interns gain a deep understanding of their field while contributing meaningfully to the studio’s goals.

How are the tasks assigned?

Based on a form that you fill in at the start of the internship, we get an idea of your interests, and based on this you will be assigned different tasks.

What tools will I use day-to-day?

The tools and platforms used will vary by internship role. Typical role-specific tools include Wix, Salesforce, and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, After Effects). Across all roles, Slack is the primary channel for day-to-day communication, Notion serves as the system of record for documentation, and Zoom is used for meetings.
